Healthcare Strategy Consultant
Client support consultant with knowledge of employer health plan design and insurance products. Background in medical management strategies for cost containment and quality improvement is desirable. Prior experience in client support and consulting roles is a plus. Good quantitative skills and client presentation abilities are essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with clients of PSIMedica's Clinical Knowledge Manager (CKM) system to establish efficient configuration of their healthcare data warehouses.
• Defining and implementing analytic solutions for clients, including standard and custom report sets,
• Identifying opportunities for performance improvement in benefit plan design, disease management, centers of excellence, and other intervention strategies.

Positons are for offices in Washington, DC, Kansas City, and New York City.

Database Administrator
PSIMedica seeks a Senior DBA with SQL Server experience. Position is for the Washington DC area. Prior experience with healthcare information technology is a definite plus.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Outstanding DBA with specific experience in Analysis Services 2000, DTS, and other SQL Server tool sets as well as general background in data center operations and data warehousing (ETL) techniques.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Populate and maintain relational database and unified fact table warehousing schemas in SQL Server. Our data warehouses are built by integrating dozens of incoming source files per customer.
• Generate and maintain OLAP cubes in AS2000. Our clients require frequent delta refresh of their cube data to provide timely reporting and analysis.
• Manage the operation of the PSIMedica data center in Northern Virginia. Data center responsibilities encompass hardware / connectivity management as well as scheduling and sequencing of incoming source data feeds.
