Marc Grodman, M.D. is President and Chief Executive Officer
of Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRLI). He has
championed the development of technology services providing
connectivity and clinical knowledge management to support
and enhance the core Lab business. Dr. Grodman received
a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1973
and a M.D. degree from Columbia University College of Physicians
and Surgeons in 1977.
Richard Faherty
Chief Information Officer, Bio-Reference
Laboratories (BRLI)
Richard Faherty is the Chief Information Officer at BRLI
and supervises PSIMedica and CareEvolve, the Company's clinical
knowledge management and eHealthcare connectivity initiatives.
Mr. Faherty has over 15 years experience designing and developing
specialized healthcare software. He is a graduate of the
University of Notre Dame and Fordham Law School. After practicing
law for nearly ten years, in 1985 he became involved in
Information Technology and has been involved with complex
data management, networking solutions, and application and
data distribution since that time.
Mathew Maurer, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Maurer is Medical Director of PSIMedica. He also serves
as Warner Lambert Assistant Professor of Medicine at the
Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and Assistant
Attending physician at the New York/ Columbia Presbyterian
Medical Center. Dr. Maurer received his Medical Degree from
the Mt. Sinai Medical Center and did his Residency and Fellowship
at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Delores
Bowman
Vice President, Client Services
Ms. Bowman has over 25 years experience in the medical
quality and cost management of Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial
populations. She has utilized her skills in both for profit
and not for profit environments. Her prior management experience
was gained in positions held at City and State government
and private industry. Ms. Bowman is a graduate of New York
University's School of Education and Nursing and is certified
in risk management.
Cindy L. Kerns
Director of Engineering
Ms. Kerns has over 15 years experience with health care data and analysis processing; as well as, health care claims coding experience, medical claims adjudication experience, and extensive knowledge of gathering claims data statistics for client audits. She has over 10 years experience in the design, programming and administration of software applications. Ms. Kerns has worked as a liaison between application programmers and support contractors to assure proper interfacing of various types of systems. She received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Missouri Western State College.
Peter B. Gillman, Ph.D
Director of Quality Assurance
Peter B. Gillman has over 10 years experience in designing
and developing electronic medical records and practice management
systems. He has served on the AMIA executive committee on
Computerized Medical Records. He has held faculty positions
in Medical and Nursing Informatics. Dr. Gillman has also
served as the Director of the Office of Outcomes Management
at the Children's Seashore House of the Children's Hospital
of Philadelphia, affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania
School of Medicine.
